The camera is codenamed Bari. It also has another name, Aruba Camera. It should be noted that Aruba is codenamed Surface Hub 2 for Microsoft's large screen device, which means that Bari may be used on Surface Hub 2.

In addition, Bari also supports Windows 10 and XBOX devices, allowing XBOX users to access Windows Hello functions, and using the user's face to automatically log in to XBOX accounts.

Foreign media speculate that Microsoft may use Bari to add remote video conferencing capabilities for XBOX.

Earlier, Panos Panay, the father of Surface, said hardware was one of Microsoft's core strategies, which meant that Microsoft would launch more and more hardware devices, including cameras.

Surface Hub 2 will be released in the second quarter of 2019, and Bari is likely to launch at the same time.
