  Based on the gold course criterias of higher-order, innovation and challenge, this paper is about building an effective English teaching course and promoting the development of vocational college education. It analyzes the construction background and approach of gold English course. This paper, taking Wuhan Software Engineering Vocational College as an example, has carried out the blended English gold course practice, and discussed how to deepen the teaching reform of English education and re-establish the effective teaching quality view of the personnel training.
