  • Abstract:

Drainage effect is the key to ensure the success of drainage operation. A new multifunctional external brain drainage fixator was designed to study the performance and effect of the drainage fixator. 128 patients with craniocerebral injury were selected as the research object, and divided into observation group and control group, 64 patients in each group. Observation group was fixed with a new multi-functional craniocerebral external drainage fixator. Control group was fixed with the drainage bottle on the infusion frame or the bedside railings by visual method, and the indicators of the two groups were counted. The results are as follows: The patients in the observation group and the control group recovered to normal intracranial pressure 20 hours and 100 hours after treatment, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05); the patients in the observation group recovered faster and better than the patients in the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05); the patients in the two groups had good prognosis rate and poor prognosis rate. The difference was statistically significant, P < 0.05, the observation group was larger than the control group; the observation group and the control group had significant differences in drainage obstruction, intracranial infection, excessive drainage, catheter deviation and the incidence of tube detachment, P < 0.05, the observation group was better than the control group; the two groups had significant differences in medical staff satisfaction, the observation group was higher than the control group. It shows that the new multi-functional external craniocerebral drainage fixator has good medical and nursing performance and greatly improves the success rate of drainage operation.
