  • Abstract:

The increase of ships has brought great pressure to the water traffic safety management, so in order to better maintain the order of water traffic, a water traffic safety assessment model based on gray correlation analysis is constructed. Firstly, the method based on clustering is used to select the evaluation index of water traffic safety, and then factor analysis and entropy weight method are used to calculate the comprehensive weight of the index. Finally, the grey correlation analysis method is used to calculate the index correlation coefficient, which is multiplied with the index weight to obtain the water traffic safety score. By comparing the safety grade division table, the water traffic safety grade is obtained, and the entire evaluation process is completed. The results show that under the application of the evaluation model, the safety level of the studied river channel section is Level 2, and the corresponding comments are relatively safe, which proves the effectiveness of the model and can be used in the actual water traffic safety management.
