  • Abstract:

    Currently, in the English classes of higher vocational colleges, the phenomenon of classroom silence occurring in context of cooperative learning has become very common. Taking group activities organized in English class of higher vocational colleges as an example, from the perspective of negative classroom silence, this paper analyzes the causes of the phenomenon of English classroom silence from the perspective of cooperative learning based on the cooperative learning theory.
