  Abstract： The "7.20" torrential rain caused serious floods in the townships of Gongyi City, and the rural houses of the villagers were seriously damaged. In the process of post-disaster reconstruction, the safety and stability of rural housing has an extremely important impact on building beautiful villages and achieving rural revitalization. To this end, the typical forms and causes of rural housing in various townships and towns in Gongyi City are briefly analyzed, and the strategies and related suggestions for the post-disaster reconstruction of rural housing in Gongyi City are put forward, hoping to provide reference for the post-disaster reconstruction of rural housing in Gongyi City.
