  • Abstract:

     The current conventional method of siting transportation hub sites mainly plans sites from the perspective of accessibility, which leads to high total travel costs due to the lack of analysis of site selection influencing factors. In this regard, a topology-based method for siting railroad transportation hubs is proposed. Firstly, the regional transportation hub sites are perceived, and the factors affecting site planning are analyzed, and finally the site selection model is constructed by combining the center of gravity method. In the experiment, the performance of the proposed method is verified for travel cost control. The experimental results show that the travel cost is lower when the proposed method is used to site transportation stations.
