  • Abstract:

     A remote temperature detection as well as alarm system is designed in order to realize remote temperature monitoring in conventional environment. The system consists of control chip, temperature sensor, LCD local display module, LED light alarm module, serial communication module and upper computer. The main control chip uses MCS-51 microcontroller; the temperature measurement module uses DS18B20 temperature sensor, which has a wide measuring temperature range and high measuring accuracy; finally, the collected temperature data is sent to the host computer using serial communication. The experimental results show that the system is better than the traditional system in terms of processing power consumption and communication quality.
