  • Abstract:

     The current measurement methods for building facade surveying mainly rely on three-dimensional laser scanning technology, which cannot effectively filter out point cloud data in images, resulting in significant measurement errors. Therefore, a building facade surveying and measurement method based on aerial photography and remote sensing technology is proposed. By planning aerial survey routes and collecting building field data, point cloud images containing spatiotemporal building data are obtained. Filtering methods are used to remove discrete data from the images and denoise them. A two-dimensional direct linear transformation algorithm is used to perform two-dimensional horizontal projection on the refined point cloud image, obtaining a building map for surveying and mapping, thereby achieving building elevation surveying and mapping. The comparative experimental results indicate that the designed method has lower measurement errors in building facade surveying and measurement.
