  This article explores the application of artificial intelligence technology in the construction of a smart tourism system. An overview of the construction of a smart tourism system was introduced, including data collection and processing, intelligent recommendation systems, intelligent navigation and virtual reality technologies, as well as security and privacy protection. The specific applications of AI technology in these fields are discussed, such as data preprocessing and cleaning, Collaborative filtering, voice recognition, image recognition, anomaly detection, intelligent interaction, etc. Through the application of artificial intelligence technology, the smart tourism system can achieve goals such as personalized recommendation, immersive experience, and security protection, improving user experience and the development of the tourism industry.
