- Abstract:
This article focuses on the cultivation of cross-cultural communication awareness and ability in English translation teaching in the era of big data. Firstly, the importance of cultivating cross-cultural communication awareness in the era of big data was analyzed, including understanding cultural differences, improving language expression skills, and enhancing professional competitiveness. Then, the challenges faced in cultivating cross-cultural communication awareness and abilities in the era of big data were explored, such as explosive growth of information, dynamic changes in cultural differences, and competition pressure from new technologies. Finally, strategies were proposed to cultivate cross-cultural communication awareness and abilities, including integrating into teaching processes, offering relevant courses, participating in practical activities, and providing guidance and supervision from teachers. The implementation of these strategies can effectively cultivate students' cross-cultural communication awareness and ability in the era of big data.
