    This study explores innovative ways of collecting news information resources from the perspective of big data. Firstly, the limitations of traditional news information collection methods, such as timeliness, comprehensiveness, and subjectivity, were analyzed. Then, by introducing big data technology and utilizing methods such as web crawlers, machine learning, and natural language processing, innovative collection methods were proposed. Finally, it was emphasized that relevant laws, regulations, and ethical norms should be followed during the collection process to protect personal privacy and information security. This study provides theoretical and practical guidance for the innovation of news information resource collection methods.
