  • Abstract:

    This study is based on the mixed model of CDIO engineering teaching for university teachers using big data, aiming to improve the quality and effectiveness of engineering teaching in universities. By analyzing the current teaching situation, the feasibility of this model was explored. Comprehensive considerations were taken in terms of technical conditions, data acquisition and processing, individual differences among students, support for teaching resources, and teacher training. Subsequently, five research directions were proposed and explored in the research, including big data analysis and personalized teaching, data-driven course design, real-time monitoring and feedback of learning processes, data-driven evaluation and improvement, and the construction of open teaching resources and cloud platforms. Research analysis shows that the CDIO engineering teaching hybrid model for university teachers based on big data has certain feasibility, and provides some beneficial insights for teaching reform.
