    With the advent of the information age, primary school art education is also facing new challenges and opportunities. This article analyzes the current situation of primary school art teaching and the needs under the background of informatization, explores the necessity of interdisciplinary teaching reform in primary school art, and proposes some path analysis and suggestions. This article believes that the reform of interdisciplinary teaching in primary school art means organic integration between multiple disciplines, providing students with more learning opportunities and comprehensive development. At the same time, the importance of the application of information technology in interdisciplinary teaching of primary school art was emphasized. Through reasonable teaching design and resource integration, students' creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork spirit can be better cultivated. During the implementation process, schools and families need to actively cooperate to create a good learning environment and opportunities for students.
