• Abstract:

  In the current education system, physical education courses in universities, as an important way to cultivate students' physical and mental health, are increasingly valued for their role in ideological and political education. This study aims to explore the effective path of ideological and political construction in college physical education courses under the concept of sports ideology, with the aim of deepening students' ideological and political education through sports activities and promoting their comprehensive development. Through in-depth analysis of the connotation and characteristics of the concept of sports ideological and political education, combined with the current situation of ideological and political construction in physical education courses in universities, this study reveals the important significance of integrating ideological and political education into physical education courses. On this basis, this article proposes a series of specific construction paths aimed at promoting the implementation of ideological and political education in college physical education courses, cultivating students' comprehensive qualities and social responsibility. By exploring various paths such as curriculum design, teaching methods, teacher training, and evaluation systems, the effectiveness of ideological and political education in physical education courses can be effectively improved.
