  • Abstract:

Welded hoop technology is an important technology in the construction of reinforced concrete structures, and with the development of construction engineering, the technology is also evolving. Welded hoop technology is widely used in the construction of reinforced concrete structures, such as frame structures, beam-column connections and high-rise buildings. When applying the welded hoop technology, the relevant design codes and standards must be observed, and the operation and monitoring must be carried out by experienced professionals. The quality and reliability of welded hoops are critical to the safety and durability of the structure. Foreign research is also very active, welding research centers and universities in various countries are conducting relevant research. In this paper, the research results on the mechanical properties of welded concrete columns are summarized, the mechanical characteristics of concrete columns under different welding forms are summarized, and the mechanical properties are analyzed and evaluated. In this paper, the definition, characteristics and application range of welded concrete columns are introduced, and the effects of different variables on the mechanical properties of welded concrete columns, such as axial compression ratio and stirrup ratio, are discussed.
