  • Abstract:

In the context of globalization and informatization, the integration of cultural diversity in the field of design has become an irreversible trend. This article aims to explore the integration of Mongolian home culture in modern interior design, analyze the challenges and opportunities it faces, and propose effective integration strategies. Firstly, the uniqueness of Mongolian home culture was outlined, followed by an exploration of the development trends of modern interior design. On this basis, the challenges faced by integrating Mongolian home culture into modern interior design are elaborated in detail, including cultural differences, conflicts between tradition and modernity, limitations in technology and craftsmanship, and considerations of market demand and commercial interests. At the same time, corresponding opportunities were also pointed out, such as the enhancement of cultural confidence, new ways of design innovation, the possibility of cross-border cooperation, and the expansion of the international market. Strategies have been proposed to promote the integration of Mongolian home culture and modern interior design. Through the implementation of these strategies, the effective integration of Mongolian home culture and modern interior design can be promoted, not only protecting and inheriting ethnic culture, but also bringing new creativity and diversity to the field of interior design.
