• Abstract:

  In the context of the information age, physical education teaching in universities faces an urgent need to improve teaching quality and stimulate students' interest in learning. Therefore, this study explores the application of integrating online and offline interest cultivation in physical education teaching and training in universities, in order to enhance students' learning interest, improve their sports skills, and cultivate lifelong exercise habits. Firstly, the importance of interest cultivation in physical education teaching was elaborated, and the current goals and contents of physical education teaching and training in universities were analyzed. On this basis, an application model for integrating online and offline interest cultivation has been constructed, including the goals, content, and implementation strategies of integrating online and offline interest cultivation, which can effectively stimulate students' learning interest, improve teaching effectiveness, and provide new ideas for the reform of physical education teaching in universities.
