  With the development of the information age, the construction of ideological and political education in vocational colleges has become increasingly important. This article explores the ideological and political teaching methods of the course "Industrial Control Network and Configuration Technology" under the background of informatization. Firstly, the objectives of ideological and political education in the context of informatization were elaborated, emphasizing the importance of ideological and political education in this course. Then, the teaching methods of ideological and political education in the course were introduced in detail, including utilizing information resources to explore ideological and political elements, using information teaching methods to promote ideological and political education, using online interactive platforms to assist ideological and political education, and evaluating ideological and political education in information assessment. This will help achieve the organic integration of ideological and political education with professional education in the course of "Industrial Control Network and Group Technology".
