  • Abstract:

Porous structures can alter their mechanical properties and osmotic properties by changing their cell shape, size, and porosity. In this paper, two kinds of cells were built based on the cell properties, and the mechanical properties of the cells were simulated. Cube cells (A cells), diagonal cube cells (B cells), fluid simulation and compression simulation of A and B cells, based on cell simulation results, porous cells (FH-1), diagonal cube (FH-2) and two cells (FH-3), the composite porous structure. The results show that A cell porosity is the best at 80%, B cell porosity is 40% with the highest yield strength; among the three composite porous structures, FH-1 has the lowest elastic modulus and strength, and FH-2 and FH-3 have high elastic modulus and yield strength. The porosity and cell shape affect the mechanical properties of the porous structure, and the combination of the position and shape of the cell model affects the mechanical properties of the composite porous structures.
