• Abstract:

   With the advent of the big data era, the job evaluation and appointment model for university teachers is facing an opportunity for reform. This study first elaborates on the connotation and constituent elements of job evaluation and appointment for university teachers, and analyzes the problems of single evaluation criteria, strong subjectivity, and opaque information in the traditional evaluation and appointment model. Next, we will explore the advantages of applying big data in the reform of the job evaluation and appointment model for university teachers, including comprehensiveness, objectivity, and dynamism. On this basis, specific strategies for reforming the evaluation and appointment model of university teachers in the era of big data are proposed, providing reference for universities to build a more scientific, fair, and effective teacher evaluation and appointment model.
