  In the current era of rapid development of information technology and fierce industrial competition, the traditional teaching mode of electronic information majors is difficult to meet the market's demand for applied talents. The factory based learning system, as an educational model that imitates the production environment of enterprises, combines classroom theory with practical application, and cultivates students' multifaceted abilities through "task driven" and "project-based" approaches. Under the factory based learning system, cross course teaching is explored and practiced through project-based course design, modular course content setting, collaborative learning environment construction, virtual real combination teaching methods, and diversified evaluation mechanisms. The specific operation plan and teaching case of "Internet of Things Smart Home System Design" intuitively reflect the practical effect of cross course teaching under this system. The factory based learning system helps students master interdisciplinary knowledge, enhance practical, innovative, and teamwork abilities, and will promote the transformation of teaching models in the field of electronic information in the future, providing more "all rounded" talents for society.
