  • Abstract:

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology has profoundly transformed research on ceramic ornamental image characteristics and evolutionary patterns. To reveal pathways for the deep integration of intelligent technology with cultural heritage, this study proposes an investigation into ceramic ornamental image characteristics and evolutionary patterns within the context of artificial intelligence. First, it categorizes primary ceramic ornamental types, including floral-and-bird motifs, figurative designs, and landscape paintings, among others.  The application value of AI in analyzing ceramic ornamental image characteristics and evolution is explored. AI technology can reconstruct cognitive frameworks and transcend traditional single-dimensional analysis. It also drives a paradigm shift in ornamental feature analysis, expanding from a singular temporal dimension to a multidimensional network. Finally, the study analyzes ceramic ornamental image characteristics and evolutionary patterns within the AI context, including achieving cross-temporal and spatial digital integration of ornamental elements, breaking traditional temporal and spatial constraints for elemental重组 and artistic innovation. It deconstructs the artistic styles of intelligent patterns, precisely dissecting historical styles to achieve creative transformation. It enables personalized expression in parametric pattern design, shifting design from experience-driven to data-driven approaches while achieving precise control and dynamic responsiveness. This aims to provide a methodological framework for ceramic pattern research in the AI era.
