  • Abstract:

The extensive penetration of digital‑intelligent technologies has steered higher‑education sectors toward a brand‑new phase of digital‑intelligent upgrading. Targeting the advancement of digital‑oriented teaching innovation for sports‑art specialities, this paper conducts an investigation concerning the structural shift and improvement approaches for teachers’ practical teaching competencies within sports‑art majors amid the digital‑intelligence era. This paper defines the core connotation of practical teaching ability of teachers in the era of mathematical intelligence and sports art majors, and analyzes the core characteristics of structural transformation of teachers' ability. Meanwhile, this paper elaborates the essential value brought by teachers’ competency transformation from three perspectives, including the optimization of practical teaching systems, the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents and the high-quality development of teaching teams. It also adopts professional training data to validate the practical superiority of digital and intelligent teaching modes. Based on the educational characteristics of sports art specialty, this paper builds a trinity path of ability improvement, which includes hierarchical training system of mathematical intelligence, data-based teaching and training system and multi-dimensional long-term guarantee mechanism. This study aims to explore the evolutionary rule of college teachers’ practical competencies, which shift from traditional single-skilled practice orientation to digital-intelligent integrated compound orientation. It intends to offer effective theoretical and practical support for the competency upgrading of teachers engaged in college sports and art majors.
