    At present, multimedia-assisted music teaching has been widely used in colleges and universities. The diversified trend of music teaching and the substantial improvement of students' absorptive capacity have promoted the wide application of multimedia-assisted teaching in music teaching. However, some teachers rely too much on multimedia aid in the process of music teaching. Teaching, lack of effective teacher-student interaction and lack of effective teaching, through analyzing 126 music multimedia teaching effect questionnaires and comparing the comprehensive scores of two art students' music majors, using principal component analysis to analyze the effects of multimedia-assisted teaching of music. The main factors, the study draws the following conclusions: multimedia-assisted instruction can improve students' ability to absorb music. The rich and interesting teaching courseware can improve students' interest in learning. Effective teacher-student interaction can improve the effectiveness of music multimedia teaching and accept more. The absorption of students in time-music multimedia-assisted instruction is more obvious.
